A paper by the Osumi research group including Postdoctoral Fellow Sara Ebrahimiazar and Senior Lecturer Takako Kikkawa has been published in Scientific Data. In this study, comprehensive gene expression analysis (bulk RNA-seq) and clustering analysis were conducted using the Fmr1 deficient male and female mouse telencephalon at the embryonic stage. This dataset underscores the importance of studying brain development during the embryonic period to detect sex-dependent genetic factors which contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders.
