Publication in Lab Animal: A paper by Research Associate Shohei Ochi, Associate Professor Hitoshi Inada (National Institutes of Natural Sciences), and Professor Noriko Osumi(2026.01.23)

A paper by Assistant Professor Shohei Ochi, Associate Professor Hitoshi Inada (National Institutes of Natural Sciences), and Professor Noriko Osumi has been published in Lab Animal.

In this study, the authors present IntelliProfiler, an analytical workflow that uses positional data obtained from multiple mice (up to 16 animals) housed simultaneously in a high-resolution home-cage environment equipped with the RFID antenna array eeeHive2D (Phenovance). This workflow enables the time-resolved extraction and quantification of locomotor activity and inter-individual proximity. The approach is expected to facilitate behavioral analyses of diverse mouse models in neuroscience research.
